With the Light Adjustable Lens, its focusing power is instead set after your procedure over multiple quick, non-invasive light treatments. This allows you to test your vision between these sessions and have your eye doctor adjust it until you reach your desired visual outcome.
The Light Adjustable Lens is made of photosensitive materials that change the shape of the lens in response to UV light exposure. Using the Light Delivery Device, your eye doctor will precisely adjust your IOL to match your prescription.
You'll test out your new eyesight between these treatments, attending around one to three treatment sessions followed by two "lock-in" treatments to finalize your results.
