What is ReZoom™?
ReZoom™ is a specially designed second generation multifocal lens implant that utilizes patented Balanced View Optics™ technology to provide patients with a full range of vision. ReZoom™ can help a patient who has difficulty reading, seeing nearby objects, seeing while driving (particularly at night), or requires bifocals.
ReZoom™ is often used to replace a cloudy lens following cataract surgery or to correct presbyopia, an age-related condition in which the lens loses flexibility and has a harder time focusing.
How does ReZoom work™?
The patented Balanced View Optics™ technology of the ReZoom™ lens is able to create multiple focal points that allow patients to see clearly at various visual ranges. The ReZoom™ lens implant is divided into five carefully proportioned visual zones. Each of these five visual zones is designed to handle different focal distances and lighting conditions, thus allowing patients a full range of vision.
What results can I expect from ReZoom™?
The results of the ReZoom™ lens will vary from patient to patient. Most patients will find that their vision is noticeably better following the placement of the ReZoom™ implant and that their vision will improve steadily in the first few weeks following the procedure.
